I have used as a dry shaver and just today tried as a wet with shaving cream. I liked it dry but liked it better with the wet shave and shaving cream. I like that it has four rotary blades that conform with my legs unlike a straight edge electric razor. Does it shave as close as a straight edge blade razor? it didn't yet for me. BUT, I have only done it once as a wet shave. And I know it takes a while to get it REALLY clean. They recommend several shaves a week, more than I ever shaved a week even when young, BUT... I LOVE how it is ergonomically contoured to hold in your palm in many ways. I love how it glides over all the curves of your legs. I am extremely happy as an over 60 women, that I can happily feel VERY SAFE using this shaver in the shower. (Yes, ladies, I didn't feel like I was gonna fall and break a hip using the razor. Not trying to tilter on one leg with all the soap, hanging on for dear life, while holding a straight edge razor. For my ladies of wisdom, I really think this is a game changer in using an electric ergo shaver in the shower with shaving cream and NOT risking life and limb. Yeah, girls we know how that feels. Don't want the paramedics to find us bleeding to death from razor and fall-- BUCK naked, for them to find.) This is A BETTER SOLUTION, wet or dry, it gives a decent, close shave.
