Tried this this morning and got a smooth shave with no irritation. Comparing the Pro 5 to the Pro 4, both are great, but the Pro 5 felt a bit better and faster on my whole head—using only 4% battery. It hit trouble spots better, too. Very happy with the shave quality.
Cleaning was more difficult, though. The Pro 4 pops into two pieces for a quick rinse. The Pro 5 requires removing and cleaning all 5 blades individually. It takes longer and uses more water—not ideal, but not a deal breaker.
Right now, Pro 5 blades are considerably cheaper, so I’ll order those going forward. But if prices were equal, you have to decide if shaving or cleaning matters more. In that case, I’d stick to the Pro 4; the cleaning is that much easier and the shave quality is very close.
